In compliance with the requirements of Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA), its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), and other relevant policies, including issuances of the National Privacy Commission, Kintetsu World Express (Philippines) Inc. and its subsidiary companies, Kintetsu World Express (Clark) Inc. and Kintetsu Logistics (Philippines) Inc. (“Company”), respects and values your data privacy rights, and ensures that all personal data collected from you in the course of your business dealings and/or any other transactions with the Company, which may include your personal information, sensitive personal information and/or privileged information, our data subjects, are processed in adherence to the general principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality.
The processing of personal data comes with the duty of implementing proper safeguards to uphold the right to information privacy. These measures aims to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data being processed.
In connection therewith, the Company commits to comply with the following provisions with respect to the processing of Personal Data of our data subjects, in the course of viewing or inquiring about our services or availing any of our online information services, viz:
- The Company shall ensure that personal data under its custody are protected against any accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration and disclosure as well as against any other unlawful processing;

Moreover, as a data subject of the Company, you are given certain rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, including the right to object to processing of your data, the right to access your data, the right to correct any inaccurate data, and the right to erasure or blocking of data.
